Give Us Your Feedback...

  1. Should we add a new "Hot Topics" section to Safe Lifting Portal ?

One of this newsletter's goals is to make your job easier by keeping you abreast of subjects that are current in the field of safe patient handling and caregiver injury prevention. One suggestion is to institute a "Hot Topics" section that would give readers single-click access to a wide variety of information on a given topic.

Please click here to give us your opinion and to suggest possible topics you would like us to include if the section gets a "thumbs up."

  1. Should we consider adding a "Help Desk" to Safe Lifting Portal?

Of the 5,000 to 6,000 hospitals and 15,000 Nursing Homes in the US alone, it has been estimated that as few as 500 hospitals and perhaps 1,500 nursing homes have active Safe Lifting or Caregiver Injury Prevention programs. One of the biggest hurdles is how to get started with a program, quickly and cost-effectively. A safe lifting help desk would put you in touch with other professionals who could give you practical, real-time advice based on their experience.

Please click here to give us your opinion on whether a help desk might be useful, and which technologies you would prefer.

  1. Do you have other ideas that might help to assist your counterparts in preventing caregiver injuries?

Give us your ideas and we will happily share them with healthcare facilities worldwide.

Please click here to access a convenient input form. And thanks for "giving back."
