Many of the visitors our Safe Lifting Portal Web site ask us: “Where is this decal being used, and is the program successful?” If your facility has adopted the familiar black-and-green “safe lifting environment” logo, we want to hear from you. Why? It’s important that all of us share our experiences. Think about our request this way: By allowing us to tell your story about using the symbol, you encourage additional facilities to initiate safe lifting programs. If you help prevent even ONE nursing injury, YOU’VE DONE YOUR PART in helping to prevent a lifetime of needless pain and suffering.
