This site has been designed and constructed by Liko as a pro bono site for the exclusive use of the healthcare community in support of safe lifting and caregiver injury protection activities. You may use the contents of this site to support individual facility or group caregiver injury prevention programs in accordance with these terms and conditions. Liko agrees to host the site, provide free access to contents, and accommodate additional documents, links, safe lifting symbol suggestions, or related materials, as requested, if they are determined to be in accordance with the purpose of the site as described herein.

Trademark Notice and Licensure Rights
Liko, a supplier of patient lift and transfer solutions, has launched this "pro bono" site as a means of increasing healthcare industry caregiver injury prevention awareness. The purpose of the site is to provide free-of-charge background materials and safe lifting environment decals and graphic support materials that can be used by individual healthcare facilities to raise consciousness and encourage compliance with safe lifting policies. Note: Liko has trademarked the Safe Lifting Environment symbol displayed herein as a means of protecting the mark and concept from future commercialization. Liko does not intend to profit commercially from this venture, and further, if applicable a substantial portion of any profits garnered by suppliers of decals or merchandise will be donated to bona fide research activities in support of healthcare patient lifting injury prevention. Recipient information will be posted on this site as it becomes available.
You may download, store, print, and copy selected portions of the contents of this site in support of safe lifting programs and activities, providing you:
- only use the contents you download for the intended noncommercial purposes as outlined.
- do not modify the contents or symbol without express permission.

Limitations to Liko’s Material Support
Liko will provide a limited supply of Safe Lifting Environment decals and background material as part of a "Starter Kit" for individual healthcare facilities. Additional supplies of decals, supporting merchandise, buttons, banners, iron-on patches, stickers, or other related materials may be purchased from a 3rd party supplier accessed by linking to www.trmiller.com/lift Contact said 3rd party supplier with any requests for individual items personalized to your individual healthcare facility or company.
Contact by Liko
Liko’s sponsorship of the global Safe Lifting campaign, while non-commercial in nature, may occasionally require contact by a representative of Liko or the Safe Lifting Portal. In exchange for sponsorship and provision of free supporting materials for safe lifting initiatives, Liko reserves the right to communicate additional safe lifting campaign messages, including messages related to new site enhancements as well as products or services designed to further enhance caregiver safety. Said contact, if requested by the recipient, may involve information beyond that provided on the Safe Lifting Portal site and may extend to the subscribers of the Safe Lifting Newsletter, persons who register on the Safe Lifting Portal to gain access to free support materials, or persons within a facility referred to by these individuals. Liko will not sell your information.
Unsolicited Ideas
Liko welcomes your comments and feedback regarding this web site. All materials, designs, or suggestions to further improve the efficacy of this site will be considered NON-CONFIDENTIAL and NON-PROPRIETARY. For this reason, we ask that you do not send us any materials that you are not willing to assign to the healthcare industry free of charge.
